The title of this post pays homage to the Just Women’s Sports podcast hosted by two-time USWNT World Cup champion and Olympic gold medalist Kelley O’Hara. Recognizing that only four percent of sports coverage is dedicated to women’s sports, O’Hara and her team are looking to take ownership of the narrative and shift the sports media landscape starting with more robust coverage.

Alex Morgan

O’Hara’s first season kicked off with none other than her fellow USWNT teammate Alex Morgan. Morgan’s long list of accolades includes two-time FIFA World Cup champ, Olympic gold medalist, ESPY Award Best Female Athlete, and US Soccer Athlete of the Year. She made her national team debut at age 20 and grew from a super-sub to a full-time starter on the global stage.
